The WTutor Doctor of Northwest Washington is owned by Donald and Leslee Gongaware. Leslee brings over 25 years of educational experience to Tutor Doctor, having served over 17 years as a guidance counselor for students ranging from preschool through high school and has experience as a teacher, counselor, and program coordinator for post-graduate programs. Leslee has a Master’s Degree in Education from Clemson University and holds current teaching and counseling certificates for Washington State.

Donald Gongaware graduated from the United States Military Academy in 1980, served in the US Army, Army Reserves, and National Guard for 28 years, retiring in 2008 with an Honorable Discharge. Donald developed numerous training programs for foreign military and US personnel and led several training improvement missions overseas. Donald has earned a Master’s of Engineering in environmental engineering and a PhD in Engineering Management.

Tutor Doctor of Northwest Washington is approved as a Community Based Instructor with the Meridian Parent Partnership Program (MP3), is an approved State of Washington Department of Labor and Industries Provider for the Return to Work Services Program, is an approved State of Washington Department of Social and Health Service’s provider for Vocational Rehabilitation and WorkSource Whatcom, and is accredited by the Better Business Bureau.
